Michael Sullivan

Michael Sullivan is a Principal of Vertical Real Estate. He specializes in restaurant and retail leasing. He represents both tenants and landlords, offering extensive market knowledge of Miami Beach, Wynwood, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach. Born and raised in Miami, Michael has a deep understanding of its neighborhoods as well as the dynamic market trends and evolving consumer demographics. Michael has developed a robust network of contacts which provide him with unique market insights and ease in deal execution.

Michael works with national, regional, and local tenants including sweetgreen, Maman, Salt & Straw, La La Land, The Salty, Quality Branded, Fooq’s, Krewe, Cactus Club and Skin Laundry. On the landlord side, he handles the leasing at Santander’s new global headquarters in Brickell, Flow’s Miami World Center, Brickell and Las Olas assets, Kimco’s Dania Pointe, Kimco’s Palms Town and County, Asana’s assets in Sunset Harbour, Fort Lauderdale and Coral Gables, The Dorsey and WNWD21 for The Related Group, Allen Morris’ Ponce Park and Ziggurat, Pebb’s Eclipse in Boca, Safra’s portfolio in Wynwood and Miami Beach and many others.

Prior to joining Vertical, Michael Sullivan owned and operated OTC Restaurant and Golden Fig Restaurant in Brickell. He was awarded Zagat’s “30 Under 30” and The Miami Herald’s “Top 50 Most Influential People in The Food Industry.” In 2009, he graduated from Rhodes College, majoring in Business Administration while playing college football all four years. Michael attended Ransom Everglades School in Miami.
